Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

If you thought stanced Subarus, Evos and Focus RSs were controversial, clearly you didn't think this far ahead. Pictures have surfaced of a stanced Ferrari 348, and we can't believe our eyes
Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

Do not adjust your set. Someone really has stanced a Ferrari. This, err, controversial 348 has surfaced at the Sapporo Custom Supercar Show in Japan.

It’s the combination of a car allegedly belonging to drift shop Slacker’s Haunt and the specialist tuners at FERS.Cru, who widened the bodywork and replaced the shocks with adjustable airbags. Check out that arch ‘gap’. You’d have to be a single-celled organism to get your shoe into that.

Brace Yourselves: Someone Has Stanced A Ferrari

It’s still a Ferrari, though. It’s red, exquisitely shiny and rides on stunning gold split rims. But there’s something fundamentally, inescapably wrong about it. Like an MR2-based fake 355, this just won’t let your eyes get comfortable.

On the other hand, as weird as it looks, you could argue that since the 348 was never that practical in the first place the team in Hokkaido hasn’t committed _total _sacrilege. And at least it seems to have been well crafted. Time to open the floor to comments…

This would be beautiful if they replaced the stock suspension with some performance coilovers.

Well, what this owner did is good. He basically went straight up face-to-face on Ferrari and said “f**k you” and did this. Ferrari won’t let you customize their cars, so this will embrace the inevitable. And all people are immature cause a good looking car like this should be burned with fire, they say, while in reality, the owner spent that hard earned money for that. You just can’t hate stuff that people make, not even what your parents do for you. Hate is a strong word, and that’s one thing you do for this Ferrari: Hate. Stop being like a crybaby and go look for other cars to hate like a riced car, but a Ferrari like this shouldn’t deserve that much hate. Look at the Liberty Walk 458, it’s stanced, but nobody gave hate to that. But when people stance this, everyone loses their minds! Why is that? Explain yourself.

Just so you know, Ferrari usually doesnt stop people from customizing their cars, especially older ones. The only case of that which I can think of is deadmau5’ 458, but that was because he changed the badges…

I don’t understand the hate.
It’s on goddamn bags,people.
They lower so it can look “good” in the goddamn owner’s opinion which is the one that matters the most, and they raise so he can drive it without scraping on dust.
They go up,they go down.
Repeat after me:
They go uuup!
They go dooown!
Good boy!
It’s like someone covered his Ferrari with an oddly-colored car cover, and everyone started bitching and crybabying about how “He’s ruined a Ferrari! Waaaah!”
Stop it!
Also,I seem to remember a sentence that sounded like “respect all cars”? Where did I hear that already?
Oh yeah,it was that sentence that was used ONLY when someone hated on a car you liked, wasn’t it?
Grow up,people.
And it shouldn’t be a 14 year old to tell you that.
(Oh shoot,I told people my age! Now they’re going to answer this comment mocking me for it!)

The one saving grace is that it’s on bags and can at least be raised to a sensible height for actual driving
