The 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV - #ForzaCarReviews Ep-2
The Murciélago LP 670-4 SV may be a mouthful, but it translates into one of the fastest Raging Bulls ever to roar out of Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata plant. Fitting, because the “SV” tag stands for SuperVeloce—Italian for “superfast,” and Lamborghini only uses the SV name for the most highly-tuned final edition of a model going out of production. The SV modifications for the Murciélago certainly fit the bill, managing 661 horsepower (the “670” in the name is the metric horsepower rating) from the latest generation of the 40 year-old Lamborghini V12. Of course, nearly every part of the engine has been modified over its lifespan, which should be apparent as it whines at full throttle. In addition, the SV was put on a diet of carbon-fiber, trimming 220 pounds, and adding many wings and scoopscrafted from bare carbon-fiber. The Murciélago was already a stunner, and the LP 670-4 SV is a fitting send-off to one of the most ferocious supercars to ever wear the golden Bull
Styling
Lamborghinis have always been angular, from the Countach of the 80s to the brand new Centenario. This Murciélago SV is no exception.
Wings, vents,fins and scoops are everywhere, shoving the air into all the important places and cooling that huge V12. The pure carbon wing is wide and high enough to eat your lunch off of and glues the rears to the road. In fact, SV should be changed to SG, for SuperGlue.
Everything is shaped to slice through the air while looking savage, with lots of pointy bits. Even the door mirrors look like they could chop up some wood easily. When it all comes together the overall expression is unique, and I love it, although some may find it too aggressive. In my opinion, the front looks like a vampire and I love the rising side scoops!
What do you think?
Performance
Lambos are fast, that’s why footballers and Youtubers buy them, but the SV feels average… I know i’m comparing it to the faster newer cars but it doesn’t feel as fast as it did in 2010.
However if you don’t compare it to other cars its very good, both in terms of speed and handling. I got 212 mph on the motorway and a 3.0 0-60 time which may not be great but it sure sounded savage. Handling is super at high speed but low to mid speed corners are hampered by the 4WD system.
Interior
I must say, i’m disappointed. As previously stated, these cars are made to be loud brash and shouty. The interior is dull and grey with nothing interesting to look at. The dash is grey and the dials are way too small to see, plus the wheel has no markings or buttons or even carbon fibre.Frankly its best to stay in 3rd person camera, plus you can hear that mighty V12.
Overall=7/10

Trust me…. even in the dullest spec the interior of the Murcielago is seriously crazy.
(In real life)
Nice review mate. The murcielago sv will always be my favourite lamborghini of all time. One Question to you ? Would you do a review of the BMW M3 E92 ?
Thanks, I prefer the Gallardo Balboni
Certainly, the post will be up next Wednesday due to time restrictions.
