2000 Subaru Impreza WRX Classic
This is my dream car. I have been drooling over the WRX since I was 18 and finally got my hands on one this year. The WRX Classic was released in limited numbers in 2000, with green only available between January and May. The WRX Classic came with beige leather interior and a wood/leather Momo steering wheel. Only 250 WRX classics were released in Australia in a year that saw 3,794 WRXs sold nationwide.
The previous owner had it moderately tuned. It has an APEXi boost controller and Tein coilovers with EDFC and has been lowered. Tastefully lowered. It hasn’t been slammed or stanced. The car is also a rarity in that it is one of the few 1st gen WRXs that hasn’t been abused. The car hasn’t been thrashed to within an inch of its life and shines up like new with a wash and wax. The ride and build quality are also as good as the day it was made.
If I have it my way, this will be the last car I ever buy. I intend to keep it for life. I named it Clarise because of the sound the blow-ff valve makes. Don’t stand to close to the glass…
