Watch A LaFerrari Get Torn Apart By The Power Of Electricity

Even a member of the Holy Trinity doesn't stand a chance against the instant torque of electric motors, as demonstrated here by the ballistic Rimac Concept One

Watch as YouTuber/racing driver Archie Hamilton pits a LaFerrari against the best from the electrical car world. The rival comes in the shape of a Rimac Concept One, with a Tesla P90D added in just for an electrical comparison.

The Rimac is fully electric with the equivalent of 1088hp, taking it from 0-62mph in just 2.6 seconds. With torque vectoring and a massive 1180lb ft of torque, the electric car is more than a match for the pinnacle of engineering from Maranello, as this quarter-mile drag race shows.

I wonder what would happen if the drivers had switched 🤔

Driver skill is hardly a factor on a drag race in an electric car

Well maybe, the factors of 4-wheel drive, more power and more torque are the main reasons, you could produce an internal combustion engine with similar power characteristics that would then win at the top end.
And the la ferrari is a car that has more in mind than straights ;)

You could but you wouldn’t, there’s a reason why ferrari doesnt just put 2000bhp engines in their cars and be done with it even though its been possible for a really long time to build a road legal car with that power. There has been over a century of cars and sports cars using internal combustion for companies to perfect it in every way but no serious attempts were made with electric cars until lithium batteries came along and it won’t take much before suddenly there are electric cars with 2000bhp like its nothing, i mean come on the P90D has around 700bhp and thats the first properly successful electric car, few petrol cars in its class have the same power figures and its only the beginning.

I have seen to much of you Americans jelling Murrrrica when Muscle Cars win races. Now me, one simple Croat is going to jell CROATIAAAAAAA as the Rimac defets the Italian hypercar

The launch control may have been on, but he wasnt using it - pretty obvious from the sound on the start. Nevertheless, pretty impressive!
