2015 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe (xDrive) Luxury Line

After driving rust buckets like E28, several E30s, E34 etc (although cars I really loved and enjoyed) for over a decade I went all out to spec my perfect daily driver. It’s a 2 liter, automatic, xDrive, Luxury Line, Midnight Blue exterior, Saddle Brown leather w/ “exclusive stitching” which I wanted to be as pretty and luxurious as possible because I wanted something comfortable . I love manuals but I live in the city and an automatic was the only logical daily driver choice.

Favorite features are BMW app that locates the car on Google map for peace of mind, epic adaptive LED headlights that makes night time forest drives fun, the wonderful colour which is blue or green depending on light, the xDrive that crawls up any icy slope, the Individual special order Piano Black interior trim, the Harman/Kardon system with subwoofers under the front seats, the handling which is surprisingly taught and the wonderful memory sports seats. Not gonna lie, the synthetic engine sounds in Sport mode is hella fun too, especially when you are flat out redlining every gear.

Future plans are 20” Alpinas, lowering, bigger brakes (I don’t like the stock ones, very low pedal feel) and ECU/exhaust system for better performance (after the warranty runs out).
