2014 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited

This is my 2014 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited, along with some info about the car and why I chose to buy it. It’s lightly modified and in the beginning stages of being used as a tuning platform. I chose this car because I always preferred the Legacy platform to the Impreza platform, and therefore did not want an STi. I also found the high-spec interior trim to be a huge bang for my buck over the STi’s of the same model year as well. However, the legacy only comes in a sedan, and I do not like the sedan body style, but since the Outback is basically just a legacy on a lifted suspension I bought an Outback and since then it has really grown on me.

It’s a 3.6R, so it has a 3.6L flat 6 that sounds freaking great through its straight pipe Invidia N1 exhaust. It also puts out around 250WHP. There are plans to change that with forced induction when I have the money for either a supercharger or twin-turbo kit (I haven’t decided which I’d prefer yet) and the required supporting mods. It’s also lowered. Very much so, as the resonator on the exhaust sits about two and a half inches above the floor. I lowered it on KW Racing V1 STi coilovers and it’s sitting on 18X8.5 XXR 522s with falken rubber. Very near-future mods will include an intake, headers, hub centric wheel spacers (8mm front, 20mm rear, for stance of course), MAYBE upgraded anti-roll bars (though I don’t see the need for now), new tires, Xenon bulbs, new JDM subaru badges all around, interior lights and plasti-dipping the grill black are all likely to happen within the next 6 months.

Thanks for checking out my ride, and if you read this far thanks for reading my rambling! I’ll be posting plenty of videos soon, as I’m starting a youtube channel for those interested in following my progress, as well as other related and unrelated things.
