2014 Ram 1500 R/T

I bought this truck new on August 2nd, 2014 as a daily driver. I wanted something that was going to be reliable, fun to drive, but perfectly capable of towing to and from the track, getting good gas mileage the whole way, and still able to run down the quarter and beat the average sports car.

So far it’s been a blast. In the first year I managed to put 30,000 miles on it. I get 22mpg at 80mph just driving and 17mpg pulling the 6,000lb corvette/trailer combo at 80mph. I ran a 12.72 in the quarter mile in a -1,100 DA. Still have a couple more mods left to install and get tuned, so it may have a 12.5 in it.

Current mods are essentially full bolt ons. Long tube headers, catless y-pipe, dumped exhaust before axle, vararam intake, catch can, 93 octane tune, drag radials, underdrive pulley, etc. Still need to sort out my suspension. I may eventually do air on all four corners for towing and ride quality.

Future plans include full dynamat in the cab and installing a subwoofer along with the suspension.
