2002 Fiat Punto Sporting

Poor plastic and a chassic you could break with the pressure of a finger. But I liked its style, and BTW the 1.9 diesel runs smoothly. All maintenance made by myself. Probably the last diesel Punto with less than 150.000kms (it had 115.000 to be precise: quite a virgin!)

Hi fellow Fiat guy! Punto 1.9 JTD must be pretty fast. I hope it’s more reliable than mine. :-)

Hello! Not a single problem until now, aside the ones that come from her age, like the old headlamps (just changed) or a bit ruined paint on the roof. Engine just runs, It has a long road ahead.

It has potential, but I think they didnt give it much attention like 1st generation or 4th… shame. Even 2nd Punto Sporting was bad…

A real shame, because 2nd generation had a very nice style and was an advanced citycar for the time. I had the Peugeot 206 too, its engine was underpowered (1.4 Td 68hp) but damn what a chassis, much stiffer than the Punto. I like Punto, but I would totally change it for a 206 1.6 Hdi. Can’t complain anyway, it’s running perfect and everything works.
