When Jeep brought back the Cherokee in 2014, they immediately slapped a “trail rated” badge on it and dubbed the top trim package the “Trail Hawk”. While the concept of the new Cherokee may have missed the mark of its predecessor, the new technology in 2014 greatly exceed that of 13 years ago. The offroad market is no different and that’s why we set off to build the modern man’s XJ; The JcrOffroad Real Hawk! The project needed to feature new products, innovative designs and built to earn its ‘trail rated’ badge.

Project Specs: The Real Hawk started as a bone stock 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with 66,000 original miles and now features some of the industries best product and newest technology.
