1994 Ford Escort LX

This car was my first rice… Got it cheap, dirt cheap. For under $500 (Including purchase price.) I got the little Escort that could, legally on the road. Sadly she only had a N/A 1.9L CVH SEFI powering the 5 speed stick (Best thing about the car.) For being underpowered the ol gal had some kick, and would do burnouts. Gotta love that manual! Logging roads were no problem for it too, alot of fun actually. 2 years later and I still got it, first gear is completely gone and she burns oil like its going out if style! This Ford Escort has been many places the engineers at Ford had probably not expected, and still drove out.. All in all I loved this car and the things we experienced and if I come across another, I will buy it if its not the absolute bottom of its Family’s totum pole…
I know its cheapo rice but oh well..

Mods List/Rice… as follows in no particular order.

-Painted various trim pieces gloss black, as well as stock alloy wheels. Installed aftermarket black lug nutsnuts (Gorilla).

-Custom Cherry Bomb muffler with hollowed out cat, oval tip exits in front of the right rear tire. After driving it with the exhuast cut off right below you for months.

-Aftermarket driving lights for “Off-road use only.”
Green LED interior light strips.

-Took out back seats and rear interior panelspanels.

• Kenwood 6x9 speakers in separate boxes for rear speakers and a 10 inch subwoofer with Pioneer head unit.

-Cold air intake that was more like a warm air intake, but it did seem to be less restrictive, I should have just mutilated the air box…
