1993 Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan 5MT

One of the very rare turbo sport sedans that were available in the US. Even more rare is the manual transmission version I have. Yes it needs some TLC and is slowing being restored. In future when I get it to a nice reliable state I will begin with some mods on the rare EJ22t that is legendary for coming stock with a closed deck block.

I’m excited to see where this goes. I used to have a ‘91 Legacy L. FWD and auto but still a fun little car. Unfortunately headgasket went, transmission was rough, and rear struts were done. I scrapped it. Had I had a garage full of tools I would have kept it and worked on it.

I own two Subarus a 91 Legacy sedan and an 06 Legacy GT. The 91 is my first and I love that car. So trustworthy and even though it was the non turbo one it had a lot of heart and soul, just not a lot of power uphill. This is a great car that put Subaru on the map and later spurred the Impreza. Best wishes owning it and I too look forward to seeing where this goes.
