Dude, nice!!
Mad
Wait.. Is that the same thing as Conquest and Starion?
No sir, the daytona is built on the chrysler “k” platform along with the lebaron, aries, to name a few, and shares no parts with conquest which was mitsubishi built
Damn! That thing is mint!
That 5 spd is rare :O
Here in Calgary, I have seen two Daytona’s. I think one was a turbo, but both were automatic… =/
Weird, on the Shelby model the automatic is actually more rare, only about a 1/4 of production were auto… probably because when you got the auto you got a downgraded Turbo I engine because it couldn’t handle the Turbo II torque!
That is pretty rare, what were the production numbers for the Dayton turbo and non turbo?
All Shelby’s were turbo, 4741. Then there was the ES Turbo trim, also all turbo, 5669. ES trim was non-turbo, 25828. And of coarse base model was non-turbo, 33760,except for a special optioned “CS” which was a base car with turbo engine, 2505. These were model year 1989 only though. Yeah i’m a bit of a freak on these
Sweet ride!!!!! love ur pics thanks 4 sharing. I have a 1987 Shelby I took parts from a 90, and it looks like yours. also T Top. n only had the 12 button navigator. so I converted 2 same digital cluster u have, and installed the electronic digital Message Center. but I don,t have the voice alert 2 go with. u are fortunate 2 have that. where did u find it? I got mine from my old Laser XE that was totalled after 2 front collisions. Oh I nearly forgot I decided 2 make my own Shelby Dodge calender n ur car is in it. the first pic of it 4 my birth month July. love ur car great job!!!
