1985 BMW 320i E30

This is my ‘85 E30 320i. It’s my fourth E30, and I’m second owner from new on this one. Even have the original buying bill of 611.000 Belgian Francs, around 15.000 Euros or 20.000 dollars, 29 years ago!

It’s got a healthy 2.0 6-in-line (early M20, with K-Jetronic management system) with 125 bhp. It’s a first gen 2door E30, my favorite from the E30-lineup. What I love most about this particular car is the colour, Bronzitbeige. Many people will think the colour is horridly dated, but that’s the thing I like about it! It screams seventies/eighties!

I have this one for 9 months or so now and didn’t do much to it, other than service it and change the rims for these 15” BBS’es and change the 3.46 diff to a
4.10. Plans for this winter are a complete overhaul of the suspension, with Bilstein B12 coilovers, Powerflex rubbers, exccentric M3 bushes in front and a strut bar in front. Maybe a mild LSD. After that, we’ll see what comes our way.
