1964 Ford Custom 500 2-Door Sedan

2nd owner, all paperwork saved from original owner including bill of lading. 1st owner’s son did some wonky things to it (cut suspension, tried to bondo the curvature of the car because he thought they were dents) Been restoring here back to original since.

Engine - 223 cu. in. (3.6L) Inline 6, 428CJ with staggered triple Holly 350 cfi 2-barrel carbs is in the works

Transmission - Toploader 3-speed manual, originally on the column but the owner’s son sigh broke the collar. I installed a Hurst T-Handle shifter and it works fine. Tremec TKO-600 6-speed manual going into it in the near future.

Rearend - Ford 9 inch, 3.00 with Trak-Lock (Don’t ask me why but it was ordered like this from the factory when the original owner bought it)

Suspension - Stock but is currently being replaced with a Fatman system tubular A-arms and coilover, 4-link with air bags in the rear.

Nice ride! Welcome to the site! You keeping the 6 or swapping in something a little bigger?

Switching out to a 428CJ I’ve been building over the past couple of years. The I6 is going to a 56’ Ford P/U.
