A Topless, Lightweight Bull - Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Performante LP 570-4 R/C Car Review
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Performante LP 570-4. The largest name ever given to a car. It’s the lightweight version of the Gallardo Spyder LP 560-4. It has the same 5.2 liter V10 engine but outputs 10 more horsepower. With the roof down you can hear more of the V10 noise and you’ve got million miles of sky over your head.
A few days ago I was watching Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘Powered Up’ DVD. Though I watched that many times, seeing him having fun in the Lamborghini Gallardo Performante suddenly made me want to have an R/C version of it for my collection. So I went to the market the next day with my fingers crossed. Luckily after going into the second shop, I found a white glorius looking Peformante in 1:14 scale.
So this is the third Lamborghini in my collection and it increased the number of cars of my collection to 18. And the first Lamborghini R/C since the Aventador I bought in 2013. And it is my favorite one.
The car is nicely detailed. Necessary things to make it closer to the real thing are there. Like the Lamborghini logos, red brake calipers, stripes on the bonnet and on the back. The front of the car is striking to look at. The back is attracting too. There’s ‘LP 570-4’ written instead of a registration plate. It also has the fixed spoiler.
The interior is OK. There’s nothing special to look at. Looks like it’s a manual but there’s no stick. So I’d assume it’s an automatic but the paddle shifters are missing so I’m not sure what the company was thinking when they made the interior. The steering has Lamborghini logo attached to it. Seats have logos on them too.
Seriously, you wouldn’t get an R/C car that shoots rocket, right? The manufacturer could’ve improved this R/C a bit. But I don’t care. I wouldn’t care if it didn’t have any interior. I still don’t know if it runs or not. It’s a Gallardo that’s gorgeous and looks adorably striking. That’s all I want an R/C car to be. And that’s what all I care about. I love this baby Lambo.
