Lazer Lamps Bespoke Grille and Lamps Solutions For Land Rover Defender

Lazer Lamps has released details of its stunningly engineered bespoke grille kit for all ’07 –on models of the Land Rover Defender. The kit contains an OEM quality replacement grille and a choice of either driving or off-road lights to enhance driving safety and enjoyment.

The Land Rover Defender Lazer Grille allows for the stylish and sleek integration of Lazer Lamps’ High Performance LED driving lamps contained within a bespoke stainless steel lower front grille, which is suited to any Defender model with air-con and the standard (single fan) cooling pack. Vehicles that don’t run this spec can still use this grille and lamps kit by buying the appropriate OEM moulding to make it all fit.

The grille simplifies installation of the Lazer lights, reducing fitting time, and with a matching complement lower, fender, and side grille parts also available, the design and look of any Defender can be enhanced while delivering the simply unbelievable lighting performance that Lazer lamps has become so well known for.

The grille is constructed woven mesh made from 316L stainless steel, and coated with a black nylon polymer to provide a long lasting bright finish with no risk of paint flaking or chips. The grille can be fitted with either Lazer ST-4 or RS-4 lights. The former is shown in the kit pictures, with the latter also offering a useful Daytime Running Light option.

Although fully ‘e’ marked and ECE approved for road use, The Lazer Lamps range of high performance LED lights has been proven in the white heat of competition. Used by the likes of Aston Martin for its endurance racing efforts and Isuzu UK on its works rally trucks the efficacy and engineering integrity of these lamps is unparalleled.

The lamp units themselves utilise high powered LEDs, combined with a dual-optic reflector system which delivers a hybrid beam pattern combining long range with a broad beam pattern nearer to the vehicle. Light output is constantly optimised through an electronic thermal management system, combined with CAE optimised heatsink. All lights have a 3 year warranty and are built to last. When switched on with the Defender’s main beam lights, it’s practically the difference between driving in daylight or at night when used on a dark road.

Entirely designed and built here in the UK, the grille and lamps have been designed to cope with the rigours of British weather, complete with a fully waterproof splice system for wiring into the vehicle electrical system without risk of damage or corrosion, making fitment a simple and viable proposition for any home mechanic or enthusiast. The grilles themselves are easy to fit with bespoke fittings and instructions, and because the grilles are custom-made the grille and lights will always remain secure and safe.
