We’ll Have A New Need For Speed Game By The End Of This Year
A new Need for Speed game is in development and will arrive by the end of the year, EA and Ghost Games officially announced in a blog post.
They’re keeping information on the up-coming release close to their chests, but have revealed a few details on the new game before we hear more at EA Play in June.
Of course, the last game in the NFS series was the reboot back in 2015. Both EA and Ghost Games are building on that foundation and have taken into account the fan feedback from it too.
The biggest detail to come from the announcement is the fact that offline mode will return – the constantly-online element of the previous game was a major drawback. Now, there’ll be the option for gamers to play offline and single-player, with the ability to pause the action and not have to put up with being constantly online.
Ghost also emphasised that customisation will “play as strong a role as ever” in the new NFS, while police chases will be a feature too.
The announcement also said players will have the freedom to drive around an open world with “the space in which to do the things you want”, and also hinted at off-road driving.
So, we’ll have a new Need for Speed game this year and we’ll get more information next month. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments!

What I found amusing in NFS World was a juggernaut car would also destroy the Rhino.
It annoys me that it says K-9 unit. 1) It doesn’t get used as a K-9 unit. 2) Poor doggies inside.

I enjoyed looking at the 2015 game, the few spots of sunlight were outstanding and hopefully they can build on a good looking game with better mechanics

I hated NFS 2015. God knows I did. But in all honesty NFS is a title I will always remain excited for even when they wrong me. They have a habit of making a good game, then a bad game, then a good game. i.e Hot Pursuit: Good. Followed by The Run: Bad Followed by Most Wanted: Good again. So keeping enthusiastic about this one.

Well the only darker thing then NFS is my ex heart, I hope that Ill see some sunrise in new part of NFS.
I dont care what they do with it as long as I can run it (coz their PC requirements were freakin ridiculous and not worth it,nor was the optimization)
Hype train! My favourite franchise don’t disappoint! (Well I never was disappointed by Need For Speed so…)
