The star cars from The Fate of the Furious will be available in Forza Motorsport 7 via an incoming car pack
Unleash Your Inner Toretto With The Forza 7 Fate Of The Furious Car Pack

Do you like wearing white vests? Is Corona your favourite alcoholic beverage? Do you use the word ‘family’ a lot? Then we have the just the piece of download content for you.

It’s for Forza Motorsport 7, which is due to be released on 3 October, and it’ll let you drive not just Dominic Toretto’s Ice Charger, but every other star car from Fate of the Furious.

The pack includes the mechanically implausible 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Special from the beginning of the film
The pack includes the mechanically implausible 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline…

Forza’s The Fate of the Furious Car Pack will give you access to the following:

1966 Chevrolet Corvette
1968 Dodge Charger
2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe
1971 Plymouth GTX
2016 Subaru WRX STI
2018 Dodge Demon
1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Special
2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S
2013 Subaru BRZ
2014 Local Motors Rally Fighter

And yes, each car is complete with the same modifications seen on screen.

That’s a veritable feast of cars, but we can’t help but be slightly puzzled as to why this has been done for Motorsport 7 rather than Horizon 3. Surely the latter game would be a better fit for a lot of these vehicles?

Also, it’s only available to players who own the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition versions of FM7, unless you’re happy shelling out $9.99 to buy it as a standalone pack.

Not cheap, but I suppose it’s a small price to pay for family.

Here we are again: Turn10, removing standard cars from previous games to put them in DLCs since 2011

All of them are in the base game, yet they still put these in the games as optional DLC.

You can have any DLC you want, so long as it’s a Corona.

Even though in the game they say it’s a ‘51 Chevy, in the movie it’s a ‘49 Chevy…

Hey I got an idea. How about we include the ice charger, a car meant to go off the road, in a Track only game!
