— NRK (@NRKno) January 1, 2016This empty shell is all that remains of a 2014 Tesla Model S after it burnt to the ground while being charged in Norway. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but is being investigated.
The incident happened when the owner of the Model S plugged it in and left it for charging. On returning a short time later, the car was engulfed in flames. Firefighters had to use a special foam to combat the flames and to make the lithium batteries safe.
Luckily, nobody was injured.

I live a couple of hundred meters away from the place where it happened, they are talking about how the quick chargers may have been not installed propperly, and is most likely at fault..still a nice car tho that had to suck to just stand there and watch it happen
