Say Hello To Rockstar's New Supercar For GTA Online: The Pegassi Torero

The Pegassi Torero is the latest retro supercar to be let loose in the virtual sandbox world of GTA Online. This follows the recent release of the Infernus Classic; a car made infamous by its inability to turn left.

The Torero can be yours for a mere $998,000, which sounds like a lot of money for a supercar from the 1980s capable of killing you whilst performing even the simplest of tasks like driving to Ammu-Nation. And that’s if you even manage to swing open the Torero’s scissor doors without getting gunned down.

Based on the iconic Lamborghini Countach, Rockstar has come over more than a little nostalgic with the advertising blurb on this one.

Straight out of a fever dream and into your garage, the Pegassi Torero is now available in GTA Online”.

The Rockstar press release goes onto state, “Then along came the Torero. A wedge-shaped, scissor-doored animal and nothing was ever the same again”. Clearly someone at GTA HQ has taken a leaf from the ‘Mad Men’ school of over-the-top advertising.

The Torero’s interior layout and design is heavily influenced by the real life Lamborghini Countach, with the square dial unit and central console cloned. The vehicle uses the Banshee dial design (blue), scaled down and reorganised to fit a rectangular segment.

The Torero certainly looks fantastic and we can’t wait to save up our virtual money to sample its glorious V12 unit.

Not a Countach until it’s shown in white with white wheels.

Another car to get ruined by either people who put whitewalls on every single car or players who have awful car taste (whole community nowadays)

Another near million dollar disappointment to waste a shark card on… Honestly why the heck does EVERYTHING have to be so expensive.

I feel like we need 80s and 90s hot hatches, like a peugeot 205gti (or a T16) or a lancia delta HF. Imagine the upgrades you could get, like giant aero packages and exposed engine bays.

It kinda looks like a Countach that hasn’t quite finished loading imo
