Lego Speed Champions Is Your Latest Forza Horizon 4 Expansion

Forza Horizon 3’s Hot Wheels expansion now has an equally silly successor. Horizon 4’s second expansion is all about Lego, and like Hot Wheels, it doesn’t take itself all that seriously.
It introduces a Lego-themed world chock full of Lego brick buildings, a race track called Falcon Speedway, and the ‘Super Mega Awesome Adventure Stunt Park’. See what we mean about it not taking itself seriously?
There’s also an airport, a pirate cove and, erm, a UFO crash site. You’ll be able to explore this new world in a variety of Lego Speed Champions cars, including a McLaren Senna, Ferrari F40 Competizione, and a 1967 Mini Cooper S rally car.

To make sure you aren’t switching back to FH4’s standard UK-based setting - or heading to its first ‘Fortune Island’ expansion - after half an hour, there’ll be various ‘Lego Brick Challenges’ to keep you interested. Exploration of the Lego world brings forth rewards, eventually allowing you to build a ‘Master Builder’s House’. There’ll be ‘Lego Speed Ramps’ and ‘Destruction challenges’ to tackle too.
Judging by the gameplay footage doing the rounds, there’ll be plenty of things to smash up. What not clear, however, is what happens when you crash a Speed Champions car. A childhood firing Lego models at skirting boards should tell you the correct result would be the vehicles exploding into pieces, but if that’s what happens here, it’d surely be showcased in the trailer.

We won’t have long to wait before finding out, however - the expansion is out on 13 June. If you own Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition, the Expansions Bundle or Ultimate Add-Ons Bundle it won’t cost you anything, otherwise, it’s $19.99.
If you want a preview of the game before then, it’ll be showcased via the Forza Monthly livestream at 01:00 BST on 11 June (17:00 PST 10 June).

This is utterly bonkers and I love it.
Anyone remember the original Lego racers on N64?
I would keep playing Legos if not for the traumatic experience with my little brother who spoiled the instructions book for my Mini Cooper ;-;
If I could play Forza this could be a good compensation lol
For some reason, theres a lot of morons who dont understand horizon. Its supposed to be the fun verison of motorsport, not JUST an open world version.
Sure am i slightly disappointed? Eh, maybe. i was hoping for an Isle of man exapansion with motorbikes DLC. but i dont mind this tbh. its fun, crazy, and unlike fortune island, i can bet this has a huge replay factor, as you can never be too old for legos!
and never in my life have I wanna V8 sawp a lego mini cooper as much as i do now
I stepped on my cousins lego car a year back. This is bringing back bad memories… 😖😖😖😖
I feel bad for the tires, which are under a lot of pressure from the weight and downforce, but mostly because they have to go over that many lego bricks at that speed.
Cool fact: Lego is the biggest tire manufacturer in the world.
I am 99.99999999% done with T10 right now… this is why I want the ability to open private lobbies like in FH2 and FH3.
The inner child in me wants to play it right now
Who cares, Lego Star Wars is being remade
