Car shows are for the weekend, right? Wrong. The midweek is the new weekend, as far as we’re concerned, and our friends at Hagerty UK agree, which is why they’re opening up their awesome Clubhouse at Bicester Motion for Hagerty Hangouts, a series of casual Thursday evening car meets throughout the warmer months this year.

The next one’s taking place on Thursday 9 July, so if you live anywhere even vaguely near Bicester, this is your signal to grab yourself a ticket and get your wheels ready for an evening run.

Every Hagerty Hangout features access to the Hagerty Clubhouse, a dedicated space set within the historic grounds of UK automotive hub, Bicester Motion, where you’ll find a free pool table, a racing sim and a fully-licensed bar, which also features a range of zero-alcohol beers. For this month’s Hangout, Hagerty has also arranged live entertainment from singer-songwriter Jeremy Johnson and some seriously indulgent street food from Killa Waffles.

But we know the main reason you want to go: cars. You can expect a huge range of awesome machinery, and for a taste of what to expect, Hagerty’s put together a highlight reel from the last Hangout in May. We can’t take our eyes off that DB4.

The event kicks off at 6pm, making it a perfect post-work trip, and tickets cost £10. That’s per vehicle, by the way, not per person, so this is a signal for any Renault Espace owners to round up their friends. What’s more, members of the Hagerty Driver’s Club get a 50 per cent discount on tickets in addition to a whole host of other brilliant benefits.

Head to Hagerty’s website to book tickets.
