We get it, some people aren’t as into motorsport as others, but if you go to a race meeting there are quite a few things you really shouldn’t be caught or overheard saying...
1. “Can we go home yet”
No, this is a six/eight/24 hour race. There are still five/seven/23 more hours to go.
2. “They aren’t that fast”
3. “The cars are too loud”
4. “What kind of fuel economy do they get?”
5. “I’m bored”
The worst thing any motorsport fan could hear. HOW?!
6. “But it’s just driving around in circles?”
And? Your point is?
7. “Anyone can do that”
8. “This is not a sport. They just sit there”
9. “It’s just a car”
No. It’s a race car. There’s a BIG difference.
10. “This is so bad for the environment”
11. “I don’t get the point of this”
12. “OHH a crash, something exciting has finally happened”

If they say that crap with their phone in their hands 24/7, tell them these phrases that will trigger the Phone Phoneys just to reflect how offended you were.
“It’s just a phone”
“Put your phone away”
“Your music is too loud.”
“Go drive the car and try to not spin it within the first few feet.”
“You’re just sitting there with that tiny screen in your face.”
“Your “Racing” apps go in a straight line, and they don’t curve!”
“Nice knockoff app!”
“How long have you played Candy Crush Saga for?”
“Oh, you got a new app that looks like another, how exciting.”

Don’t need any of those. Just look at their phone, and say the apposing brand is better. Like if they have Android, and they are saying sh*t about the race. “What do you know, you were dumb enough to buy an android”. If they try to find out what phone you use, ignore them if you too have an android.
Seriously though, what is a microtransaction?

The first time in drag racing my girlfriend was like “can we go yet?” now she is “oh, we are going home already?”
I once took my ex to the Kentucky Speedway for a race when I’d gotten some free tickets from work. She wouldn’t stop yelling (loudly) whenever the cars would pass us by, “They’re turning left!” I was pretty embarrassed to be sitting next to her. One of many reasons why she’s my ex now XD

Well, rally cars are usually required to be street legal, so yeah. Some race cars can actually be driven home. They are also often required to drive to the next stage themselves after scrutineering.
