I don’t think there was ever a ‘moment’ I was more into toy tractors when I was younger (I’m from a family of farmers). Among my toy tractors I remember having 2 model F40’s, a Porsche 959 and a Lamborghini Diablo and enjoyed playing with those too. Then I got a toy car garage so I got more into cars after playing with that. Then the love grew even more when I started watching Top Gear, the first episode I saw was Series 3 Episode 4, this episode was a ‘Lamborghini special’ and instantly my favourite car was the Lamborghini Gallardo, seeing that low, bright yellow, loud machine tearing around the track was just awesome, and to this day it’s my dream to one day have a Lamborghini Gallardo (not a massive hit on here, I know) but for now my Abarth 500 will have to do!
My father was a rally driver…..
Mine began with a Lada. My dad bought a brand new one from the factory in Russia. When I was growing up, one of my chores was to wash the car, which I didn’t mind. I would get in the garage, sit in the car and I would shift the gears up and down and pretend like I was racing ( I was like 9). seeing I have an interest for cars, my dad taught me to drive when I was 12.
When I was about six my dad was looking at buying a skyline and this bloke give us a test drive in a R32 GTR which was about 6 grand back then and the bloke ragged the bollocks out of it haha il never forget it, fastest car I’ve ever been in, but always been into cars since i was about 5.
Its hard to say where my passion for cars started but one of my first experiences was I saw a black nsx our front of my school and I stopped in my tracks and just stared as it gleamed and sparkled in the morning sun it was the most beautiful things I have ever seen so I did research on this car and it just expanded from there :)
