okay so i’m only 16 so i don’t have much of a story for cars, however i do have one for dirtbikes/motorbikes. when i was 3 years old my dad put me on a quad with my older sister who was about 7 at the time and lucky me got to control the throttle. Since then i wanted to control more and more independently and i watched my dad ride off to nowhere and i had always wanted to be like him. So about a year or half a year later (i can’t remember i was wayyyy too young) i was at my neighbours house and i saw a push bike, and it was just like dad’s! so i hopped on and tried rolling down a hill and lifting my feet off the ground (this i do remember because it hurt, a lot) after many failed attempts i finally got going and rode around the front. i know for certain when i was 4 my dad got me a small like honda 50z, that was a ripper. the next bike i got was a kawazaki 110, then a drz 125 (which i learnt how to clutch on) then an rm 85 (my first two stroke) and my current bike 200 exc. after i got the 50z my passion grew rapidly.

Mines started very early. I don’t really remember how young I was but I remember my dad telling me stories about his old car. He had it at his parents ranch and when we went there we would always go look at it. Even though the car didn’t run anymore my dad still loved the car and eventually he had to sell it because of financial reasons. At the time I didn’t understand why he sold it but later he found another car. The car he found was a 1949 ford mercury that was left to rust. I remember the first time he brought it home. It didn’t run and was just a pile of rust really. We then started to do minor things to it like cleaning all the rats nests and getting all the dirt off before he sent it off to get restored. It might seem odd but what really got me into it was him telling me after a day of cleaning it “you know you’ve been working on the car when you blow your nose and black boogers come out”. Ever since we’ve been going to car shows and imaging how we are gonna fix cars and what not. Till this day the car is slowing but surly coming together. When I turned 18 I bought my first car (1990 nissan 240sx) and it was the same story with that one it was a pile of rust and just a shell. Eventually i fixed the car up and im excited to see the mercury be finished
