At a very young age when I got a nice minature garage. I have proof at an old VCR, I always wanted my granddad to get me from school with his car. I hated the bike/bicycle, and still don’t like everything on two wheels… The real ‘gearhead’ started later when I borrowed someone money to fix their racecar. And rolled in thanks to them. Now I am learning to become a mechanic
Well my dad was always into cars he have rebuild some engines and cars so he learned me about cars aswell. I was learning alot from tv shows and youtube i watch every thing to learn. My very first car was a subaru 1800 pickup, i used it on a field to drift and just have fun until it dies, it had 4xxx k on it and still drove like a charm. Until i destroyd the clutch, so then me and my dad took the engine out searched for a new clutch but culdnt find one. So i wreckt it at a scrapyard. This happend when i was sixteen years old and i did learn a lot. I got myself a car really early as well it is an BMW e36 318is I love to drive that car, like my very own car. I’m currently doing some changes to the car for example adding a m-tech front spoiler and angle ayes and ofcorse a subwoofer and some speakers. Very early i was steering and my dad was using the pedals, and I love hot wheels. Ive been in the ferrari museums and ive watched a lot of shows like drifting and stance cars.
When I started looking for my first car it felt like something I needed in my life!
My uncle is a car guy and he would always tell me how awesome his old Datsun 240z was and how cars are more than a tool, they are a way of life, also when I was a kid the only games I would play were racing games.
PS: That’s an awesome picture!
It all started with the Shelby kit car body in the backround. That was my dads, hes owned it since before i was born. We always dreamt of finishing it, but we never did. I grew up going to drag races, car shows, show and shines, autocross, and i was always in the garage with my brother and his friends, i was fascinated. My brother has owned a number of toyotas, two aw11 mr2’s, multiple ae86’s (more than 5.) and a bunch of Corollas and other toyota wagons, imported Mitsubishi’s and Subarus etc… The first car ive ever driven was a Datsun 240z, when I was 11 years old. But what got me truly started was when my brother brought home his first Cressida. MX62, 5ME, rusty as hell, slow as hell. I fell in love with it, the headgasket blew on it and i was up all night with my brother and dad when they were fixing it, i was only 8 years old. They gave up on it though, parked it in the backyard for a long time, i would still sit in it though, I dont know what i loved about it…. Anyways, fast forward about 6 years, and my brother got a new Cressida, this time and MX63, 5mge, cut springs, rusty… I loved this one even more. Anyways, to cut the story short, my brother gave the MX63 to me when i was 15 and two months later, i bought another cressida, an MX83… My journey with cars has just begun.
It happened when my friend got a CLIO RS. I was a little into cars before, but not has hardcore as was today. The day I went hardcore was when he came out to get my in his CLIO 3 RS, the way the car was shaped, the red brembo brakes, the engine noise, I was sold INSTANTLY. After the engine was warm, he took a few corners like it were the last corners he would ever take. The way the G forces had an impact on me, the acceleration out of the corner, and the braking. Man I was instantly sold to the way cars were made. I wanted to know everything what made me feel so good and happy.
I thank my dad for it.
It was in my blood itself, my mom used to say me that when I was a small kid itself I used to love them and how I paid attention to the way the rims move, and how all my stuff are car related even now.
Up till i was 18 i wanted to be a carpenter. But my high school wood works teacher was a raging alcoholic and he didn’t want me in his class because i wouldn’t pay $300 for the books so things were said and I was kicked out of his class. So the only other class i could take was another automotive course so i did and had the two classes back to back and just fell in love with all of the different things you can do with cars.
Started when I started researching about subaru because my dad has a subaru and I found myself watching rally videos non stop and bought forza games after this.
