An HRT Bus

The sound of the parking brake being engaged while the vehicle is rolling sounds exactly like I did when I heard top gear was being relaunched without the triumvirate.

Why is it so that every time one of these videos go viral the driver gets so much flak for being a teenager? What is it not expected for him or her to be a bad driver? No one is gonna be a good driver right after they take their license, and it’s only a natural thing for him/her to overestimate their driving skills once they get “used” to being behind the wheel. What has happened here is a teenage driver has gotten to know where the limits are (the hard way) and this will in turn lead to them being a better driver in the future. It’s better that a driver will find this out early the hard way rather than stay within the safe limits and never be able to properly maneuver a vehicle in a difficult situation in the future where the consequences may be more dire than just a banged up Lexus. Well that’s my opinion anyway.

A smart man would have used the parking brake rather than try to put the car in park. They are not the same thing.

“Sorry son, but after this failed attempt at whatever you did, you are never allow near cars again, since every car enthusiast will be after your head if you ever get behind one again”

And this is why we still need handbrake levers.
