My dad and I have opposite opinions on gas mileage. My 3 rotor rx7 gets 5 mpg.

Zero. I told the guy who machined the parts in new Zealand that I want a refund. Probably going to get rough. It’s legally his responsibility as he charged me for shipping. Both my attorney and ups told me. I feel so useless. I just want a motor. :-(

Still, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds is insane in an electric car. (I know that one isn’t a P85D, but I’m just saying)

I never understood rotatorys and the theory behind their displacement.

I thought rx-7 has a small displacement? Someone please explain

It’s low displacement, but rotaries have a much higher redline, and since revving it out is the best way to drive a rotary and prolong engine live, that leads to crappy gas mileage .
