Manga Bombing my Polo !

Hi guys, I’m from France and here is my Polo 6R 1.2 60 hp, with 3 mad cylinders OMG !
Here is my first post where my car was stock : http://www.carthrottle.com/post/ovCxHb/

I’ve done a chrome GTI look debadged front bumper, Lenso BSX 16" wheels and Manga Bomb on the left front panel.

I was inspired by the Mighty Car Mods "Budget Street Cred" video, where they did a Manga Bomb (cheap alternative to Sticker Bomb).

This left front panel was damaged, and i’ve got a new one freshly painted. So i kept the old one to Manga Bomb it. I used the tome 39 of "Reborn !".

I did it like MCM, but in a far more proper way. I sanded the old paint, glued and properly sealed the paper with two heavy coats of Mod Podge (Outdoor), i let it dried for 3 days. Then 3 heavy coats of marine polyurethane clearcoat with sanding between each coats. All of this was done with a brush. It is now super resistant, the marine clearcoat can resist to sea water. So if i dive into the sea, i will probably die but don’t worry, my manga bomb will not, F**k Yeah !

Here the result ! Manga - 7 €, Mod Podge Outdoor - 10 €, marine polyurethane clearcoat - 15 €. Total cost : 32 €. It is not as cheap as the "MCM" way, but it is preperly done and it will last.

Nice! Although a stickerbomb would maybe make it popout more? as in it would have more colour

sure it would pop out more if it was stickerbomb, but i think black and white looks better on black cars.
Anyway, that’s my opinion VS your’s, but you have a good point. I think i’ll go with sticker bomb when the manga bomb will rot and become yellow, who knows when…
