I like your youtube channel a lot but lets face it. a Gen7 celica is no replacement for a GT86 they are both fast cars, but the appeal of a gt86 is the rear wheel drive. and guess what.. the celica is FWD if i was looking for gt86 alternatives on a budget, i would look exclusively at rwd cars. starting with the MX5, S2000, bmws, and at a push, i would suggest an MR2 but never a celica, or integra as a gt86 alternative.

The Celica had loads of potential but it’s vastly unexplored and unexploited. The main problem? Contrary to popular belief, its not so cheap to properly modify it. With the right motor and trans combo, proper suspension upgrades and some tinkering you can have a fun and powerful car in your hands.
I have to disagree with the RWD will kill you at the age of 18… it will kill some….but hey that is life….I made it to 26 without killing myself only driving high power RWD. But the rest of the video was pretty amazing and well I liked the Celica before…..but when I buy FWD it is either a Suzuki Swift or Honda CRX first gen. .
