1986 Merkur XR4Ti Top Gear U.S.
This is the 1986 Merkur XR4Ti featured on Season 3 Episode 3 of Top Gear US. I bought the car from then-EIC of Jalopnik Matt Hardigree in December 2013. They look like a Sierra Cosworth
More similar to the Sierra XR4i, but yes your suspicion is correct!
It looks the same becuse its the same car! Its from Ford(eu) and it were sold in the us as a mercury
It was sold as a Merkur, not Mercury.
