2005 BMW X5 e53 (Facelift)
Hello, firstly, I changed my nickname, I was TheWildCat. After that being said, I can get to tell you about this car.
This is my mom’s car, it is a BMW X5 e53 (1st gen) Facelift. It is a very practical car, I like it very much. It is the car that I’ve driven the most, recently I drove around 50 kilometers by the steering wheel (yas, I am 14), thanks, dad!
It has R19 5 spoke alloy rims, sitting on pretty wide tires, big sunroof, TV’s in the back of the seats, leather interior, heated seats and it’s 3.0 turbodiesel engine should be pumping out around 230 hp stock, we thought of chipping it to push more out of the engine, but we haven’t done it yet and we probably won’t.
It is not a real, off-road capable SUV, we all know that, but it is surprisingly good. It has no problem covering mediocre off road, sand, mud (it would be better if it had the right tires), it can tow well. We use it to go to places (obviously), go to cycling competitions (we have a bike carrier), tow stuff, go to the forest.
I think it looks good, I really like the looks of it especially with the angel eyes on.
It feels great to drive it, on the road, it is pretty stiff and doesn’t have much body roll when cornering (untypical to an SUV) but at the same time is very comfortable.
Rust, well. It is in overall good condition, but it seems like it has been in some sort of accident before because the paint on the hood is cracking, the driver door is rusting and rattling. Also the BMW badge on the front has lost its blue color. Surprisingly the left fender is ok.
The best part is, it has been promised to be my first car by my parents. If it will actually happen it will be quite hilarious and cool at the same time, not the car you think of when someone says ‘’first car’’
OK, so, thank you for reading about the X5, I really like this car. Leave your thoughts and questions about it in the comments. Thanks! :)

If you could customize it what would it look like
I would lift it up (not too much), put mud tires on it, mudflaps, pull the exhausts through the bumpers (where they go in V8 versions) and chip it. Probably not ever gonna do it.
What does the prefacelift look like compared to this?
It has coloured turning signal glass on the back (we have transparent), rims are kinda bad (some of the facelift versions have bad rims too), I think the headlights were changed too, so it looks more angry. Also with the facelift the diesel engines power was bumped up from 190 to 230 hp, active headlights were added, towing traction contorol was first added (it helps straighten out the trailer on slippery surface). Also a whole new 4WD system was added, this time BMW made, before it had a Land Rover system that was less efficient with power. There were some more exterior details, but right now I am eating breakfast and I don’t really want to look up that in the internet.
LETS VISIT THE RODKNOCK MODSHOP
I just fkin searched it and realised that the dude Ricer Miata is nicknamed RodKnock. Made me watch his videos, they are nice.
Won’t change my name tho :P
