Small Lexus Coming to The U.S After All?
We've heard so much about this car, it's time for it to finally get here! Speculation has been rampant for quite some time about a new small Lexus. Originally (like a few years ago) it was thought that the HS 250h would be a sold in Europe as well, but that isn't the case.

Of course, the European small car market is a far more competitive and demanding place then ours. Lexus must have an excellent product in order to have any hope of competing against cars from entrenched home market brands like Audi and BMW.
The new small Lexus, possibly named "CT", is Lexus' attempt to do just that. The blue hatchback is a recently announced teaser of the car. Current thinking is that a production preview concept will be debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month.
Through all of this, I have wondered why the Lexus hatchback wouldn't make it to our shores. While it's true sales in the United States of cars this size haven't been great historically, I think it could bring in some new (younger!) customers to the Lexus brand.
Lexus might have realized this as well - Automotive News reports that sources inside Toyota are pointing toward a possible U.S market release in 2012. We'll see next month if it's something worth bringing over - for now, it sounds like it is.
