We’re pretty guilty of sharing all kinds of crash videos from the Nurburgring, so in the interests of redressing balance, here’s a more positive compilation of footage. From amazing driving (who knew a BMW 2-series Active Tourer could be chucked around like that?) to some sphincter-tightening saves, it makes for an enjoyable watch.

I’d be interested to know how many of these saves, especially with the newer cars, were the driver aids (traction control, stability control etc.) doing the work as opposed to human intervention.
