This hilarious video was shot in Lille on Wednesday during the lead-up to Ireland’s Euro 2016 match with Italy. Clearly this group of fans felt bad about one of their number jumping on the roof of a Ford Ka and making a massive dent, so they had a little whip around and started stuffing Euro notes into the door shut lines to pay for the repair. However, it wasn’t necessary, as a few well placed thumps had the desired effect!

Irish fans have been the talk of the tournament thus far, with countless amusing viral videos showcasing good-natured humour and various antics appearing online.

These Irish should be given free tickets to every game. They don’t care about who wins or loses, they’re just there to watch football
