Would an R32 Skyline be a good first car in Canada? I found one close to me for 7k, not lowered, manual and it's AWD so it's perfect for snow! Should i?

Skylines are 70% RWD, not as good in winter as you might think…

Also, moving this from muscle to Japanese… :)

Own opinion: insurance will be super expensive, cops will always watch you, most likely to crash, etc…

In my opinion AWD will cover your mistakes. I’d go with FWD(alright in the snow) and Winter tires. Don’t let Acceptable Target Fanboys Here fool you, FWD can be fun.

If you want it then buy it! Don’t listen to anyone.

you will find that the r32s 4wd system is not designed for snow :D:D neither are its wide tyres :D

If you want to buy it, but your main issues will be cops, insurance, and fanboy bias, which I havnt seen here yet.
Just consider the fact that you are young, and with power comes irresponsibility. If you feel up to it buy it though.

If it’s a GT-Four and not a GTR maybe, I think the GT4s might have a manual AWD button for snow and such

Not all skylines are GTRs. Don’t forget you’re buying a 20+ year old car, it comes with its problems…
