From my experience there is no real difference in petrol usage between 1.0 L - 2.5 L (maybe even 3.0) engines, it’s all between 10-12 liters, when you step on around 15-16-17
So you arr saying that doesn’t matter if i get a 318 or a 320 in terms of fuel economy?
325i will get better average economy. 318i if you’re doing city driving mostly. In my opinion, the difference is not enough to justify getting a 318 over a 325
My goal is to get the fuel economy to be a daily but at the same time having the power when i want it
In my opinion if you have to ask about fuel economy, e30 is not the car for you.
Not everyone has the luck of not having to care for fuel economy and having in mind that it’s my dream car I think the e30, it’s THE car for me!
As you have been told, actually pretty much all the six-cylinder ones have similar MPGs. For a better fuel economy I would go for a 318is with an M42 engine (straight-4 DOHC) but it just doesn’t cut the sound and torque of the six-cylinder! ;)
Consider 325e, it’s M20B27 - it has only about 120HP, but has 250NM of torque on low revs, fuel consumption is greater than on 318.
Thanks!
Fuc* the economy
Then I walk… Is this walkthrottle?
My 90 325is really isnt that great on gas, about 15 mpg city, it all depends on how you drive it. Highway’s a bit better at 25. It would still recommend a 325e for you.
Thank you… I already looked online for a 325e, only 1, on sale in my country
get a 318i m-tech II its like a baby m3
Beautyfull!
If you really look for good mpg, maybe the 325e is the right choice.
If you look for power, take the 325i (almost same economy as 320i) or a 318i with the M40 inline four.
