What are A-pillars, B-pillars. and C-pillars and what do they mean?

Those are the pillars that hold the roof up on a car.
The A-pillar is at the “front corner” of the roof, connected to both the driver/front passenger window and the windshield.
The B-pillar is the one behind that, the C pillar is the third one, and the D-pillar (usually only found on estates and vans) is the fourth one.

the pillars is the metal between the roof and the rest of the car. A pillars are the two pillars on each side of the windshield. the b pillars are the pillars behind the front door. and the c pillar is the pillars on each side of the rear window.
