DIY: Carbon cleaning an Audi RS4 4.2l V8
After buying one of my dream cars, I did a lot of research about it on the interwebs to find out as much as possible regarding how its components worked, different mods, factory faults that the cars faced, etc.
To my surprise I found out that these cars were more or less bullet-proof in mechanical demand - apart from a great flaw that is the result of the fuel injection design.

In some specific engines this design caused carbon build-up to occur on the intake valves, thus less air can pass through and if you deprive a n/a engine of it’s air flow you also loose A LOT of power.
At one point I decided to have a go at it, but I wouldn’t manage without the help of the US RS4 community that helped me out with various instructions and tips.
