1989/1990 Pontiac Fiero GT Prototype

I believe so. This one is located in the GM Heritage Centre.

For some reason, 3 other ‘89/‘90 prototypes were destroyed by Pontiac.

I would argue that GM wanted to erase the Fiero from history so it destroyed those prototypes.

Many reasons for it:

• Innovation & technologically more advanced than the Corvette (at the time)
• Reputation that the Fiero carried with it ( fires, reliability issues, liability etc)
• Suppression from high up GM staff that capped the Fiero since day one
