We've Got This Gorgeous Jaguar F-Type 3.0 V6 AWD For 3 Months - What Do You Want To Know?
The Jaguar F-Type is one of my favourite new cars, and while I’ve said many times before that I’d never buy a new car, I’d make an exception with something like this. But because I don’t have upwards of £50,000 to spend on a new car, I did the next best thing by calling Jaguar UK and asking if they might loan me one for a few months.
Short story shorter, they agreed, and here we are; I am now the proud owner of this Ultra Blue F-Type S Coupe AWD British Design Edition with a few options thrown in, including a Fixed Panoramic Roof (£1280), Parking Pack (£515), Visibility Pack (£1100), MeridianTM Digital Surround Sound System - 770W (£1330), plus a few other bits. All in, this car is specced up to just over £80,000.
Because you’re probably wondering what the ‘British Design Edition’ bit adds to the car, you get a more aggressive body kit (the skirts are massive), 20-inch Cyclone 5 twin-spoke wheels, a Union Flag emblem on the grille and a switchable sports exhaust.
Under the bonnet sits a 3.0-litre, supercharged V6 with 375hp. That’s mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends drive to all four wheels. 0-62mph takes 5.1 seconds and it’s good for a top speed of 171mph (275kph).

Does it sound better than the F-Type V8 R?
Imo I think it does
I think thats the wrong way to see it. Both are completely different animals. Both of them sound great. I personally like the deep V8 burble more with all its crackles and excessive bangs and pops but the V6 has a more racey note to it and its very own flair.
