My Top 10 Car Dream Garage

As a petrolhead I would love to one day have a garage (more like a warehouse) filled with cars I love, and if money was no object I could be here for days saying which ones I’d get. Choosing a limited ammount of cars is difficult, and even if I try to nail it down to 10 cars, which is a lot, I’ll still have a really hard time doing it. Yet, I think that my 10 car garage would look like this:

Porsche Cayman GT4 (981)

Since it came out, I’ve been in love with it, and if I could only have one of my dream cars this would be it. Words can’t explain how much I love this car, it’s just perfect to me: the looks, the proportions, the interior, the sound, the manual gearbox and so many more things that if I stated them all I would just be describing the car. Only thing I would do to it is get an exhaust from iPE or Fabspeed, like the one on the video bellow.

Audi RS6 Avant (C7)

Why? Because I would want a car that could do it all, and for me the RS6 is the car that nails it all! Looks amazing, sounds the business, has enough comfort and it’s stupid quick. What more can you ask for in a car like this?

Ferrari 458 Speciale

As you might notice reading this article, I’m crazy for Porsches and Ferraris, and the Ferrari 458 is my first answer to “What is a supercar?”. All supercars that came out after it are (or at least should) be compared to it, and for me it still is Ferrari’s best “package”, if you take everything in consideration, and although a “regular” 458 would be more than enough

Porsche Carrera GT

When people ask me “What car do you consider the best of all time?” this is the car I answer with. A lot of people will disagree and they are NOT wrong, but neither am I, there are a few cars worthy of this claim, and the CGT is the one I believe to be the best car of all time. I’m not gonna go over my reason because the list is very long but if you really want to know go and check out Doug DeMuro’s video on the Carrera GT.

Honda Civic Type-R (FK2)

“Wait, what? Why would you put this on a dream garage?”, well it’s very simple: it’s different from everything in this list. I could add another supercar or hypercar but I prefer to increase my range of options by adding my favorite hot hatch, plus it’s FWD like nothing else on this list. I love the idea of having a car simply for fun, I like the quirky looks of the car and honestly I could explore more of this car on the road than any of the others on the list.

Lexus LFA

I looove Japan as a whole, and their cars are a great part of the reason why, so I would add my favorite japanese car of all time, the LFA, to my dream garage. The engine on this car alone makes it worthy of everyone’s respect, but this car is so much more than that and having that slight touch by Yamaha is the icing on the cake, probably my favourite sound car of all time.

Porsche 918 Spyder

Well I like variety so I would want to have an hybrid, and this is my favorite hybrid and my favorite hypercar. Honestly I have a really hard time choosing between hypercars because they’re all so perfect in my eyes, but if I could have only one it would be this one (I think haha) mostly because it’s the most versatile and usable hypercar. Absolute perfection.

Koenigsegg Agera R

Another hypercar, and why? Because I absolutely love Christian von Koenigsegg’s work, the dedication, passion and effort put into these cars is out of this world, and I would want to have to have one of these cars because they are so well engineered, and I’m not just talking about the pure speed of these cars, but also about the perfect balance, the stability, the smart use of the materials, and the fact that nothing on these cars is there without a very good purpose.

Ferrari F12berlinetta

The F12 is simply my favorite Ferrari, so I would have one of these on my dream garage without a doubt. For me, Ferraris with V12s upfront are just like Porsche 911s, they are kind of the brand´s soul, and honestly the F12 is simply the most flawless FR car Ferrari has ever done in my opinion. They look extremely good and sounds so good that words aren’t enough to explain… but this video of one with an iPE exhaust fitted is!

Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991)

Last but not least: the 911 GT3 RS! How could I choose a 10 car garage and not put a 911 in it? There is no way around it, 911s are some of the most amazing cars out there. I love how these cars have the engine in “the wrong place” but still manage to be some of the best driver’s cars and be extremely overachieving machines. No wonder these cars are Porsches biggest pride.
