Here's How The Twin-Supra-Engined 'Frankenstein V12' Hot Rod Is Looking Now

Late last year, we were a little gobsmacked when stumbling upon a Reddit thread about someone’s uncle building his own V12. Using two Toyota Supra engines. Yep, this hero was joining two 1JZ 2.5-litre straight-sixes together, with the intention of slapping on two turbochargers and installing the whole 800bhp shebang into a custom-made hot rod.

We hadn’t seen an update since January until today, when we thought we’d check up on the progress of this amazing build. Two new galleries have since been posted on the same Imgur account - in March and April - which we’ve embedded here for your viewing pleasure.

Unfortunately, there haven’t been any updates since then, so we can only hope this project is still going strong.
