Your eyes do not deceive you; this is a TRD (Toyota Racing Developments) Toyota Prius. While TRD bodykits are available for the Prius in Japan, we were sure no such thing existed for the Prius in the UK...

After speaking directly with Toyota, we can confirm that a TRD version of the Prius isn't on the way to UK Toyota showrooms. Toyota told us that the TRD parts were ordered from Japan especially to create this one-off. We were also told that the car has been created for a particular purpose which will become clearer later this month.

Seeing the TRD Prius, then, a question to you: Does the TRD kit enhance the hybrid's looks, or is it wrong on all levels?
