A manager has been criticised by a worker's union after he turned up to work in a brand new Ferrari, the day after the company announced 45 redundancies.

Trevor Modell used to be a Director at engine makers Lister Petter, but now works as a consultant with a union overseeing the restructuring of the business. Redundancies were announced because of a lack of money.

Mr Modell arrived at the factory one day after announcing the redundancies in his brand new £178,000 Ferrari 458 Italia. A spokesman for the union said that his behaviour was 'insensitive at best'.

What do you think; is this the world's most insensitive man, or the world's best business optimisation expert?
