Those guys are lucky that there were no security checks at Airports back then. Because those guys have some balls made out of steel.

That’s the way it was back then. Cars were extremely dangerous. I mean, they pretty much explode on contact, we’re made of magnesium (which burns like a furnace, as stated in the video). Crash was almost certain death, unless you were flung out of your car.
That Mercedes crash was insane. You really had to have balls of steel to race back then.
The chills I get from watching this… Why did it take them so long to invent a roll cage?
