Ride Onboard An 1800bhp Camaro As It Suffers A Horrifying 200mph Crash

This terrifying onboard footage shows the moment Nacho Bernal had a huge 200mph spin followed by a devastating roll at an airfield in California

Amazingly, both the driver and passenger walked away from this scary crash. The twin-turbo Chevrolet Camaro was fitted with a six-point roll cage plus five-point harnesses, which - along with crash helmets - almost certainly saved the pair’s lives.

He’s at an airfield, so I guess as pilots say:

“Any landing you walk away from is a good one”.

1:40 “Fortunately we hit a burm, threw us in the air, rolled… flipped” sounds like he appreciates a good crash :P

im just guessing here but has the right front wheel locking up something to do with the skinny front tires they’re usually running on these cars? (less rubber means less traction means easier lock up) or am i being stupid right now

Front completely mangled, rear completely mangled, middle…pretty much perfect. Gotta love modern safety standards, sucks about the car, but at least they were fine and the driver still had his sense of humour
