Paul Walker Could Return To The Fast And Furious Franchise
After a fitting tribute to the late Paul Walker at the end of Fast and Furious 7, it seems that we haven’t seen the last of the JDM-loving character after all. Talks between Vin Diesel and Walker’s brothers began earlier this year to try and reintroduce the Brian O’Connor character to the film series in a respectful manner that will serve as a further tribute to the popular actor.
The filming procedure will probably involve similar methods seen in the last film, with CGI and body doubles to step in for the deceased Walker. Both of his brothers - Cody and Caleb - will probably be used again to take Paul’s place, with the depth of the role yet to be confirmed. Speaking to ET, Caleb Walker said: “I had a phone call with Vin [Diesel] for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing.”
With Fast and Furious 8 due to be released in cinemas in April 2017, it can be assumed that the ninth film in the franchise may feature the ex-cop character yet again.
How do you feel about this artificial return of Walker to the silver screen? Was Furious 7 the perfect goodbye to his character, or should he live on in the plots of future films? Comment below with your thoughts!

Brace Yourselves, here comes the RIP Paul Walker comments
he has to come back and give vin his 10second car
He already gave him a ten second car.
Well well well…
Just don’t….that is just a stupid idea…. I do really like card but honestly, I didn’t like last 3 movies from this franchise…. it sounds silly to me they are making another one, or another four, according to some rumors… just don’t milk that cow Vin!
In fast & furious 20 they will look like the expendables or the team in R.E.D. lol
I know right? They have gone wayy past the time to stop already and after the last one it should be a pretty f… Time to realize it. I guess it’s all about money now, they are probably getting lots of it so they keep making them, I’m not going to watch this things on the movies anymore.
I thought they wrapped thing up after 6 honestly
The first three movies were about racing or cars. That’s what appealed to us. But as the times changed, so did they. They have to do what appeals to the larger audience to keep making movies, and I respect that. It’s not about cars anymore, but we still get to see them.
Ls swapped tanks..
Problem he is dead
Not sure how I feel about this…
Im not ok with this…
Beating a dead actor
What is the difference between a fiesta and a Porsche? Paul Walker didn’t die in a fiesta
Guess its not stopping on F8..
I’m losing F8 in this franchise
And judging by the pic they don’t mean roads, they mean skyscrapers.
I’d rather they left the F&F franchise alone and started all over again, with a new storyline, new characters, some new actors and “more cars/less bs” approach
Yes!
What would it be called?
What if they did a prequel to the current series?
