James May Regrets Picking A Thief For The Grand Tour Driver Auditions
It’s time for another ‘driver audition’ video from The Grand Tour, and this time it’s James May’s turn to pick a candidate.
Previously, Jeremy Clarkson’s suggestion of racing driver Mark Webber and Richard Hammond’s stunt driver have both shown, err, minor flaws in their driving styles, the latter ending up wrecking two brisk Renaults.

James thinks he’s cracked it by taking the old adage ‘drive it like you stole it’ to heart. Yep, he picks a car thief. Who… well, you can probably guess without our help, but he nicks the car.
This all seems to be driving at something specific. All three of the team’s suggestions have thus far done exactly what their careers suggested they would. With that in mind, will the driver they pick eventually be a test driver, then? Someone who evaluates cars for a living? We’re still not betting against Ben Collins…

Does that mean he’s not coming back then?
What about James Mays mum?
I reckon they should just bring back Ben Collins for old time’s sake.
why on earth
would they let a car thief loose in such a great car
I don’t see what Mark Webber did wrong… I mean, if he says that’s all the car had, who are we to call him a liar?
What about Daniel Riccardo?

Umm, does anyone know who that driver was?
Why not Chris Harris? He’s free half of the year now
