Here's A Reminder That Lapping A Snowy Nurburgring Is A Risky Move

An F80 BMW M3 driver is seen having a slow yet still painful accident on the Nordschleife during a snow storm

The F80 BMW M3 is already a spiky thing in anything other than bone dry conditions, so taking one on the Nurburgring during a snow storm is a little brave. Or maybe a little dim.

It certainly didn’t end well for the owner of this Yas Marina Blue example, who’s seen dropping the back end despite driving at relatively slow speeds, failing to catch the slide and punting the car into a bit of Armco.

As far as ‘Ring crashes go it’s a fairly minor one, but the gentler pace somehow makes it rather painful to watch…

BMW and snow don’t go together even off the ring.
